Meeting Updates and CSWFD Debrief

Thanks to everyone who helped make Cub Scout Winter Fun Day a great success!  This event would not run without the help of everyone in the troop!  Thanks especially to Mr. Johnston, Matt Johnston, Mr. Olson, Ethan Miller, and Mr. Moton for running events and to Mr. Hengel for bringing wood for the event.  The boys worked hard and had fun – awesome job by everyone!  Thank you!

Our next scout meeting, Thursday, January 21st,  is a family court of honor/pot luck at Marinette Middle School at 6:00.  Everyone needs to bring a dish to pass (enough to feed your family) and your own table service.  We hope to see everyone there!  (remember boys to wear your class A uniform)

Just a reminder that the 1st Summer camp payment is due next month.  Regular Summer Camp is $250.00.  Payments for summer camp are two equal payments of $125.00.  For boys 14 and older who want to participate in the “Wolf River Adventures” excursions, cost is $300.00 so two equal payments of $150.00.  If there are financial reasons that you cannot make summer camp payments and want your son to attend, there are camperships that pay for a portion of Summer Camp.  Forms are available from me.  See me for more information.

As always, if you have any questions, please email or call Mr. Schroeder.

Camp Brown Commemorative Patches

I have the Camp Brown Commemorative Patches that families ordered at the Fall Camporee.  They ended up being $9.00 each.  Several families ordered them and I did order a few extras.  They are available on a first-come, first served basis.  Please let me know how many you would like and I’ll have them with me at our meeting.
